WHY WE RUN
The RER Run Team is a collective that uses our Legs For Land Back!
As runners we intimately engage with the land every day, with each step. And, wherever we run, the land belonged and belongs still to Indigenous people. Our Indigenous relatives are the original stewards of the land and have the ancestral knowledge to protect and heal the land. ReNew Earth Running was created to go beyond land acknowledgments and go toward Land Back.
Through the fundraising efforts of the ReNew Earth Run Team we will help fund environmental protection and healing efforts led by Tribal Nations and other Indigenous organizations. We hope to provide assistance throughout Indian Country and have a positive impact on the environment.

REQUIREMENTS & INCENTIVES
Fundraising is a commitment that our non-Native teammates make to be on the team. All non-Native teammates are required to raise at least $250. Reaching the fundraising goals and/or in-kind donations is what RER runners have committed to in their application.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Since RER began in December 2020, we have donated over $30,000 to support Indigenous land stewardship, and raised almost $14,000 in 2023-2024! With your help, we plan to have an even more successful 2024-2025 season!
